Call out for Volunteers

Our farmers are working really hard and there is no shortage of hands-on farming work to be done. We are recruiting now for farm volunteers. If you are wanting to get some hands on experience and connect with a community of like minded folk, we would love to hear from you.

When:  Wednesdays and Sundays

Where: Backyards in Fawkner (address to be sent on commencement of volunteering)

What: Prepping no dig garden beds, planting out, weeding, watering, propagating and harvesting
Who: Izzy, Catie and George, our urban farmers and sometimes a GF representative will be onsite.

What to bring: - Sturdy shoes and clothes for the garden (that can get a little muddy)
                                - Face mask
                                - Hat & sunscreen
                                - Packed lunch
                                - A water bottle
                                - Gardening gloves and a shovel if you have them
